How to Connect to a BeamMP Server

Connecting to a BeamMP server is straightforward, whether you're joining a public server from the server browser or a private server via direct connect. This guide will walk you through both methods to ensure you're ready to jump into the action with ease.

Connecting to a Server Via Direct Connect Recommended

To join a private BeamMP server using direct connect, follow these steps:

    Access the Game Host Bros Panel and select your BeamMP server.

    Copy the server IP address from the sidebar.

    Launch BeamMP and click More > Multiplayer to open the Multiplayer menu.

    Select Direct Connect and enter the provided IP and port.

    Click Connect to join the server. The game will handle any required mod downloads.

Connecting Via Server Browser

Note

You MUST set an AUTH key for your BeamMP server to appear in the server browser.

The server browser is another way to find and connect to public BeamMP servers. This assumes you've already set your server name.

    Open the BeamMP launcher and let it start the game.

    Once the game is loaded, click More > Multiplayer and select Public Servers.

    Select the server you wish to join and click Join to connect. The game will automatically download any required mods before joining.

If you're having trouble finding a specific server, try using the search bar at the top of the server browser.
