BrainBread 2 is a fast, gory zombie shooter on the Source engine from Reperio Studios, the follow-up to the classic Half-Life mod BrainBread. You grab a weapon, tear through hordes of walkers, runners and bandits, and spend your experience on agility, strength and proficiency skills that turn you into a tougher survivor with every level. Infected players can come back as zombies and hunt down their former teammates, so a round is never over until the last human falls.

Its modes all come from the map you load. Arena maps throw wave after wave at your team, classic maps send you through objectives and checkpoints, story maps play out a longer scripted mission, and deathmatch and elimination maps pit humans against zombies or each other. A dedicated server keeps the map rotation, rules and your players' progress in one place that is always online, instead of depending on whoever happens to be hosting.
