Full control over your server
"I host servers for Valheim, Vintage Story, Ark, Enshrouded, and Soulmask in various forms several times a year. I have tried many hosts (Gportal, Hosthavoc, Dathost, more) and I would recommend GameHostBros above them all. It's not that I had a tremendously negative experience elsewhere, either - in general they have all been pretty good. What sets Game Host Bros above the rest at the time of writing this are three things:1.) Value of base packages: In my experience, the specs (cpu threads, ram specifically) are extremely generous for the initial purchase price. Additionally, and this holds true for the second reason, this host is clear about what you're getting. 2.) Upgrade Availability: Sometimes, the scope of a server gets away from me. Some runs start with just a few people and mods but balloon into 20+ folks. Having clear, enumerated access to upgrading the server's CPU, Ram, and Storage is unique in the field. Dathost (which is a perfectly fine host) only had one single upgrade that I could pay, and it was a mysterious $5 for "higher cpu priority".3.) Quick response to inquiries: I've submitted two ticket requests and both have been entirely resolved within an hour. This interfaces a small amount with my one suggestion to the company: One of my tickets was to add the ability to enter a code for a hidden Steam beta (public_test), and the field had to be added by support. I think the host panel in general could use smoother/more user friendly config access.I've already recommended Game Host Bros to others and will do so again."

While I initially purchased the service to play with a small group, only one other person has joined so far, but I'm still enjoying it. I researched prices and trustworthy sites on Google and Reddit before making my decision. It's only been a week, but I don't anticipate any issues."

Cheap and Good Hosting
"Used this for our Project Zomboid server, not sponsored in any way.I'll be giving my full honest review about the server hosting and MY experience with it.For context, I am a bit knowledgeable with setting up mods for a local play for Project Zomboid, and doing a bit of updating, but I never tried to host a dedicated server on my own. Well, I did try and do it on my own PC, but with all of the port forwarding it was a nightmare and I just wanted to hop on the game and play with friends. This is where Game Host Bros came in, it was recommended by a friend, and we tried it, well it was a bit of a head scratcher at first since that's just how Project Zomboid works, you really got to set up everything, from maps to mods, to sandbox values, to the parameters of within the INI File. Well it seems that I am saying negative things, but keep in mind that those negative things are not directed to Game Host Bros. All of my pain points in setting up the server locally was alleviated by Game Host Bros! They are truly helpful, you can just send them a message on Discord or even Reddit and they would do their best to help you in setting up your server (Even if there are already guides that they setup, they still help you and not just give you the guide and leave you on your own.) Their services are cheaper than other competitors in the market, while also providing better server performance at the same price point compared to those other competitors.So with that I would fully recommend Game Host Bros for your server needs. I might even try and get another server for my other games if my friends decide for it.TL;DR - Game Host Bros is an excellent server hosting website. It might be confusing at first, but all of their staff are helpful and would definitely help you in building your server. They also provide one of, if not, the best price to performance ratio compared to their other competitors."

"In 10 years of Minecraft hosting, this is by far the cheapest I've had. And you'd think, cheap means quality lacks right? WRONG. Doing research you can see the specs of the servers they use are the same. With additions in the checkout panel, a STRONG server running 20gbRAM - extra cores - extra memory, is +-$25 from this provider, whereas other providers would happily charge $60+. Support so far has been top tier, if your ticket takes time they offer live chats and a discord with some pretty helpful members and staff.10/10 for Minecraft, as I expand my network I will stay with them, and any game servers that may come in the future."

first time hosting a server
"as I've never hosted a server before, host bros was an excellent experience. it was easy to use, and quick to learn. though I never delved deeper into setting it up as I never felt like I had to. however I did make the mistake of not checking where the servers were based out of. on that note though being in Canada the connection to the server was quite excellent and only experienced minor lag spikes when more people joined. I would also like to add that due to my inexperience with hosting a server I was lazy with getting copies of my world and ended up losing it all due to the cancelation of the server, but contacting customer servers they were able to help me out by sending a copy of the back ups, which I can't stress enough how appreciative I am for their assistance!"

I play heavily modded (300+ mods)…
"I play heavily modded (300+ mods) Minecraft on a dedicated server. I moved from Shockbyte to Game Host Bros (GHB) after using Shockbyte for about 4 years. My experiences so far have been outstanding. GHB has better hardware for similar or better prices, more configuration options for the dedicated server, and some of the best customer service I've ever experienced with a tech service company.Things that have been better:- The control console: GHB has the usual command line console for admin purposes, but also includes displays for all aspects of server usage. The console also feels more responsive that my experience on Shockbyte.- Server hardware: I have had zero issues with my dedicated server being unable to handle the load of running a 1.12.2 Minecraft world with over 300 mods, and some of those mods are very processor intensive. On all of my Shockbyte servers, I had lag spikes every 30 seconds or so that were just long enough to interfere with combat or any actions that required steady input on my part. This was true even on brand new worlds with modpacks that weren't nearly as big and me being the only player. My GHB server has been smooth as butter.- GHB FTP speeds are so much better. I like to do my own setup for my servers, so while both Shockbyte and GHB offer automatic modpack installation, I do my own as the customization takes longer than a manual install. Shockbyte FTP was painfully slow and files often failed to transfer (to or from the server). GHB FTP is fast and no file has ever failed to transfer. Drive operations in general are faster too as deleting an entire, long-running dedicated server on Shockbyte usually took at least 30 minutes, while on GHB it took less than 10 (not sure how long because I walked away, lol)- Customer service: The first time I had any issues at all was yesterday (Feb 21, 2025), and it was a network issue of some sort. I submitted a trouble ticket (it was around 8 PM Central), and quickly received a reply from the support tech Michael asking for more details and a diagnostic so they could identify the problem. I did so, and it turned out to be an Internet Service Provider problem rather than anything with the GHB servers. I would have been okay to leave the issue there as that was out of GHB control and would be resolved soon enough by the ISP. However, GHB offered to migrate my Minecraft server to a different location to see if that resolved my connectivity issue. I agreed and was moved within 15 minutes. There were no issues connecting, so now my dedicated server is running from a new location that even has slightly better hardware than the previous. I don't know that I've ever had this kind of fast and competent customer service from any other tech service company before. Michael was outstanding and certainly set the bar high.This fast resolution was impressive, but in my case absolutely relied on available spare capacity so I know future issues may not be able to be resolved this quickly. However, I am confident they will do their best to have any issues resolved as fast as possible.Game Host Bros is well worth taking a look at if they have what you need for your own dedicated server. Their pricing is incredibly competitive and service is top notch."

I heard from them via word of mouth, and purchased a 7days to die server from them, and based on their prices was skeptical, as they were almost TOO affordable for the hardware, especially when compared to larger competitors. I have to admit my skepticism was for nothing! Not only are their prices way more than competitive, but more importantly I can say with confidence that their customer support and dedication to genuine customer support is second to none. They feel like a small business ran by dedicated gamers, but offering hardware and customer service of trained and dedicated professionals! "I was having a technical issue porting my coop save over to the server for Palworld. I spent countless hours trying and could not get it to work. Finally I went to their discord and put in a service ticket. They responded to my ticket immediately, unfortunately I had a unique problem that was not easy to solve quickly but they worked on it actively for 2-3 hours trying multiple different things. Finally they were able to fix my issue and I was able to load up my world in the server. They were incredibly helpful and understanding of my issue. As you can imagine I was pretty lost and confused!However the whole page is filled with guides that can help you through the process. "Not paid, not forced, 100% honest review. I literally asked pedrotski if I could leave a review and where they wanted it! So here it is.I was looking for a valheim server to play with my friends. I'd never heard of this company but they were affordable, no limits on capacity and 8gb of ram off the bat. Great stats. We wanted to mod our Valheim server and ran into issues and crashes because i'm a dumdum. Well I put in a support ticket on their discord and within 30 minutes Pedrotski the owner messages back and gets right to work. They installed the mods for me, walked me step by step through fixing things on my end, through mod pages to see if things were compatible and updated, helping me with my own files because I guess extracting a folder is too tough for me. Incredibly embarrassing, but incredibly helpful. I will absolutely be using them for all my servers in the future with my gaming guild."

"I have used many hosts over the years and this company continues to be the best I have ever used. When CS2 launched our host for the last 5 years was very hard to reach and was little help.
