About
Codename CURE II
Codename CURE II is a free to play co-operative first person shooter from Raptor Byte, set in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse. A squad of up to five soldiers takes on dynamic objective missions across fully procedural maps assembled from tilesets, scavenging resources between fights to keep the squad armed. Five classes, Pointman, Support, Assault, Technician and Sniper, each bring their own arsenal and abilities, and enemies range from commons and fallen soldiers to feral zombie dogs, all of them fed through a reactive gore system with dismemberment and burning.
Because Codename CURE II builds a different map every mission, the thing worth keeping is the squad, not the level. A dedicated server gives your group a fixed address to drop into rather than routing everyone through whichever player happens to be hosting, which keeps hit registration honest when five people are firing into a horde. Larger communities can run several servers with different difficulty settings and mission rotations, and admins keep control of who joins.
Game Host Bros will run Codename CURE II servers on AMD Ryzen 9 9950X and EPYC processors with NVMe storage, with a choice of 15 global server locations. The control panel will provide full file access for mission and difficulty configuration, plus scheduled restarts, automatic backups and enterprise grade DDoS protection. Servers deploy in under 60 seconds and free migrations are available if you are already hosting somewhere else.
Codename CURE II is free to play on Steam for Windows, so anyone you invite can join a squad without buying a copy. It includes Steam achievements, Steam Cloud saves, full controller support, adjustable difficulty and offline play with bots, alongside uniform, helmet and weapon customisation that carries between missions from CURE HQ.
Game Host Bros will offer Codename CURE II server hosting from $7.99/mo. Rent a Codename CURE II server and you get a permanent home for a five player squad, custom mission rotations, instant setup, automatic backups and 15 global locations to choose from.
