About
Cubic Odyssey
Cubic Odyssey is an open world voxel adventure from Atypical Games in which an entire galaxy is built out of cubes. Every star in the sky is a real system with orbiting planets, day and night cycles, NPC cities, pirate outposts and ruins. You mine and refine materials, craft tools, weapons, vehicles and starships, take quests, trade, and fight the Red Darkness, a spreading infection that mutates wildlife and swallows planets. Movement runs seamlessly from a planetary speeder to atmospheric flight to warp jumps between systems.
A galaxy of hundreds of star systems is not something you want stored on one player's machine. Cubic Odyssey received a dedicated server update precisely because co-op here means shared projects: cooperative megastructures, orbital laser strikes and boss fights that need several players at once. With the universe hosted independently, crew members can keep exploring, mining and building at their own hours, and the outposts and starships everyone contributed to stay exactly where they were left.
