Dawn of Defiance is a Greek myth survival craft game from Traega Entertainment. You play the Defier, a Spartan who steps into the afterlife only to find the gates of the Underworld sealed and the Olympians gone. From nothing, you gather and craft your way across the isles of the Crossroads, using heightened movement to reach coastal cliffs, fogged woods, dark caves and blistering sand, building Greek architecture, forging gear and weapons, and breaking the Olympic seals by killing the mythic bosses that have taken over the gods' shrines. It plays solo or with up to three friends.
Four players sharing one island chain means shared temples, shared storage and shared boss progress, and none of that should hinge on one person being awake. A dedicated Dawn of Defiance server keeps the settlement standing between sessions so anyone can log in and carry on gathering while the others are offline. The game also exposes a healthy set of server settings, including toggleable drop on death, disabling durability and adjusting health and damage, which lets you shape the difficulty around a group that plays a couple of evenings a week rather than every night.
