About
Deadlock
Deadlock is Valve's multiplayer action game, described on its own Steam page as an early development build with plenty of temporary art and experimental gameplay. It sets two teams of six against each other in a third-person shooter that borrows its shape from the lane-pushing genre: troopers and guardians hold the lanes, souls buy items, and the map opens up as objectives fall. Access has so far been limited to friend invites passed out through Valve's playtesters rather than an open release.
Competitive Deadlock lives or dies on scrim time, and public queues are a poor place to run it. A dedicated Deadlock server would give a team or a league a fixed place to practise on demand, with a consistent region, a consistent configuration and no waiting for a lobby to fill. For an organiser, that means brackets that start when the schedule says they start, spectators who can be let in deliberately, and match settings that stay the same across a whole tournament rather than changing between rounds.
Game Host Bros will run Deadlock servers on AMD Ryzen 9 9950X and EPYC processors with NVMe storage, in 15 global server locations so you can put the server close to the players who need the lowest ping. Our panel will provide direct file and console access, scheduled restarts and enterprise-grade DDoS protection. Free migrations are available if you already have a server elsewhere.
Deadlock is distributed on Steam for Windows and does not yet have a public release date. Valve has not opened it to general sale, so a server plan is aimed at organised play once server tooling becomes available. We will publish plans as soon as Deadlock server hosting is supported.
Deadlock server hosting from Game Host Bros starts at $11.99/mo. Register interest now for a dedicated Deadlock server with instant setup, full match configuration, DDoS protection and 15 global locations to pick from.
