About
Deadside

Deadside is an open-world survival shooter from Bad Pixel set in a post-Soviet landscape of forests, rivers and abandoned settlements. There are no levels or experience bars: your standing is whatever gear you are carrying and how well you shoot. Thirty-two firearms take scopes, extended magazines, flashlights and suppressors, and the ballistics are deliberately unforgiving. Between missions marked on the map and NPC patrols guarding the good loot, you build a base anywhere outside the settlements, wire it with turrets and traps, and move around by car, motorcycle, boat or the fast-travel metro. Your character leaves the world when you log off, carrying everything on your body with them.

The reason to run your own Deadside server is that the game ships three genuinely different rulesets and you have to choose one. PvP servers allow raiding at any hour with no limits. PvE servers let players meet and trade but never fight or break into each other's bases. PvP with scheduled raids opens a raid window at set times so nobody logs in to a flattened base after a night's sleep. Owning the server means you set that rule, along with loot rates and who is allowed in, and your community's bases stay standing whether or not anyone is online.

Game Host Bros will run Deadside servers on AMD Ryzen 9 9950X and EPYC processors with NVMe storage, in 15 global server locations. Configuration files, raid schedules and admin tools will be reachable from our game panel, backed by automatic backups and enterprise-grade DDoS protection. Free migrations are available if you are bringing an established Deadside server across from another host.

Deadside is available on Steam for Windows and left Early Access with its 1.0 release in December 2024, published alongside tinyBuild. Server operators get the full configuration set, which covers raid windows, base decay and mission frequency.

Deadside server hosting from Game Host Bros starts at $15.99/mo. Rent a dedicated Deadside server with your choice of PvP, PvE or scheduled-raid rules, instant setup, automatic backups, DDoS protection and 15 global locations.
