About
Derelicts
Derelicts is a co-op survival and base-building game set years after an ancient mechanism flooded Earth with radiation and drove the wealthy off-planet to space stations. You crash-land with your team and start from nothing, felling trees, mining metal, raising a base and defending it from mutated wildlife and hostile survivors while you look for the source of the incident. What sets it apart is the physical infrastructure layer: water wheels, wind turbines and solar panels generate power, wooden gutters and pumps float logs to sawmills so plank production runs itself, and blizzards, thunderstorms and frozen rivers knock all of it out of step. A dog companion can be found and fights alongside you. It plays solo, in online co-op or over LAN.
Automation in Derelicts is built up over many hours, and the weather cycle that feeds it never stops. That makes it a poor fit for a session that only exists while one player has the game open. A dedicated Derelicts server keeps the water wheels turning, the base standing and the research you have unlocked in place between logins, so friends can join whenever they are free rather than waiting for the host. It also means the person who built the power grid is not the one holding everyone else's progress hostage.
Game Host Bros will run Derelicts servers on AMD Ryzen 9 9950X and EPYC processors with NVMe storage, spread across 15 global server locations. Our control panel will provide full file access for tuning server settings, along with scheduled restarts, automatic backups and enterprise-grade DDoS protection. Free migrations are available if you are moving an existing world over from another host.
Derelicts is listed on Steam for Windows and has not yet set a release date. It supports online co-op, LAN co-op and cross-platform multiplayer, with Steam Achievements and full controller support. We will list plans as soon as the game and its server files are out.
