Dune: Awakening is Funcom's open world survival game set on Arrakis, where you arrive as a Bene Gesserit agent tasked with uncovering what happened to the missing Fremen. Staying alive means chasing shade, refining water and reading the sand before a worm arrives. Around that sit crafting, base building, ornithopters you assemble yourself, and training in the Schools of the Imperium as a Trooper, Mentat, Bene Gesserit or Swordmaster, played solo or in co-op.
Funcom supports private servers for Dune: Awakening, and a private world is the version of the game a guild can shape to suit itself. You set the rules on your own Arrakis, from harvest and crafting rates to base decay and how PvP is handled, and the plots your group builds are not competing for space and resources with the population of a busy official shard.
