Empyrion - Galactic Survival is a space sandbox that combines building, survival, and exploration in a procedurally generated galaxy. Players construct capital vessels, hover vehicles, planetary bases, and space stations using a voxel-based building system, while managing resources like food, oxygen, and fuel across planets with different gravity, atmospheres, and biomes. The game includes FPS combat, faction diplomacy, and a progression system that spans from crash-landing on a starter planet to commanding fleets across star systems.
A dedicated Empyrion server creates a persistent galaxy where player-built structures, faction territories, and explored regions remain intact around the clock. This is essential for communities running faction-based PvP, cooperative survival campaigns, or creative building projects where players contribute on different schedules. Hosting your own server also gives you control over scenarios, difficulty, and server rules.

Server settings including server name, max players, and basic configuration are adjustable directly from the control panel under Server Options.
