About
Far Cry
Far Cry is the open-world shooter Crytek released in March 2004, the game that introduced CryEngine with its huge tropical islands, long view distances and dense jungle. Its multiplayer brings up to 32 players to jungles, dams, airstrips and freighters in Free for All, Team Deathmatch and Assault, where one team captures a chain of checkpoints while the other defends them before the sides swap. Ubisoft shut down the game's online service in 2015, but the community kept Far Cry online and still plays it today.
A dedicated Far Cry server is how that community plays. It stays online around the clock with your own name, password and map cycle, so your clan and regulars can join whenever they like. You choose the game type, the maps and the limits, set the respawn wave time, friendly fire and voting, and keep laggy connections out with a ping limit.
Game Host Bros will run Far Cry servers on AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processors with NVMe storage across 14 global server locations. Servers will run the game's own dedicated server from the final 1.40 patch, set up so players anywhere can join by IP. The LRv3 Server Mod, the community add-on behind today's online server list, will come ready to switch on, adding anti-cheat, automatic map downloads for players, admin tools and the Capture the Flag, Capture and Hold and Capture the Transmission Base game types.
Our control panel will set your server name, password, player limit, game type, map cycle and limits from simple settings, with full file access for custom maps and server configs. Players need Far Cry with the 1.40 patch, which Steam, GOG and Ubisoft Connect copies already have. The game files will come installed, and enterprise-grade DDoS protection will keep your matches online.
Game Host Bros will offer Far Cry server hosting from $7.99/mo. Rent a Far Cry dedicated server for your clan or community and you get instant setup, automatic backups, full file access and 14 global locations to keep ping low.
