About
Halo CE
Halo: Combat Evolved is the shooter Bungie made that defined a generation of multiplayer, and Gearbox brought it to PC in 2003 with online play for up to 16 players. A year later Halo Custom Edition followed as a free expansion for PC owners, opening the game to community-made maps and modes. Capture the Flag on Blood Gulch, Slayer on Hang 'Em High, the Warthog, the pistol and the Rocket Launcher: more than twenty years on, Halo CE still has an active community of servers playing every day.
A dedicated Halo CE server is how that community plays. It stays online around the clock with your own name, password and message of the day, so your clan and regulars can drop in whenever they like. You choose the maps your server cycles through and the game type for each one, from CTF and Team Slayer to King of the Hill, Oddball, Race and the classic Halo PC presets.
Game Host Bros will run Halo CE servers on AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processors with NVMe storage across 14 global server locations. Servers will run the final 1.0.10 dedicated server with all 19 stock multiplayer maps, and they will list on the community master server that replaced GameSpy, so players can find yours in the in-game server browser. SAPP, the community server extension behind most Halo CE servers, will come ready to switch on for admin commands, Lua scripts and no-lead netcode.
Our control panel will set your server name, password, player limit, maps, game type, time limit and friendly fire from simple settings, with full file access for uploading custom maps and SAPP scripts. Players need Halo Custom Edition with the 1.0.10 patch to join, and enterprise-grade DDoS protection will keep your matches online.
Game Host Bros will offer Halo: Combat Evolved server hosting from $7.99/mo. Rent a Halo CE dedicated server for your clan or community and you get instant setup, automatic backups, full file access and 14 global locations to keep ping low.
