Lost Rift
Lost Rift is a first person survival adventure shooter from People Can Fly, the studio behind Bulletstorm and Outriders. Solo players or squads of up to five wash ashore on an archipelago and build a camp on their own PvE island, raising crafting benches, cooking stations and modular strongholds. From there they launch extraction expeditions onto unstable islands, where PvPvE firefights decide who gets out with the loot before the clock runs down.
Lost Rift already leans on geo located dedicated servers, and the region a session runs in shapes how the extraction fights play out. Hosting your own gives a squad a settled home for the base camp island, control over who is allowed in, and somewhere consistent for gear and progression to sit between expeditions rather than depending on whichever public session you are dropped into.
