About
MTA:SA
Multi Theft Auto: San Andreas (MTA:SA) is the free, open source multiplayer mod that turns Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas into an online sandbox. Started by fans in 2003, it puts dozens or hundreds of players into the same San Andreas at once and replaces the single-player story with game modes built by the community: freeroam, racing, deathmatch, roleplay, zombie survival, drifting and anything else people can script. Thousands of public servers still run every day.
Everything on an MTA server is a resource, a package of Lua scripts, maps, models and sounds that the server sends to players as they join. That is what makes running your own server worthwhile. A dedicated MTA:SA server lets your community keep its own game modes, maps, accounts and admin team in one place that stays online, so players can drop in at any time without waiting for a host.
Game Host Bros will run MTA:SA servers on AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processors with NVMe storage across 14 global server locations. Servers will come with the official resource pack, and you will pick Freeroam, Race, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Stealth and more from a dropdown in our control panel. Resources download to players straight from your server, the server will keep itself on the latest MTA:SA release when it restarts, and full file access will let you upload your own resources and edit every config file.
To play, each player needs a PC copy of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and the free MTA:SA client from multitheftauto.com. Your server will be listed in the in-game server browser, players can also connect directly by IP, and enterprise-grade DDoS protection will keep it shielded from disruption.
Game Host Bros will offer Multi Theft Auto: San Andreas server hosting from $7.99/mo. Rent an MTA:SA server for your community and you get instant setup, automatic backups, one-click game modes and 14 global locations to keep latency low for your players.
