About
Outbound
Outbound is a cozy open world exploration game from Square Glade Games, set in a green near future where your home is an electric camper van. You begin with an empty shell and rebuild it using a modular construction system, fitting workstations, furniture, gardens and solar panels inside the van and across its roof. Power is drawn from the sun, wind or water, and the whole road trip can be shared by up to four players in online co-op.
Progress in Outbound sits in one shared vehicle, so a dedicated server keeps the van, its upgrades and the crops growing on the roof in a single persistent world rather than tying everything to whoever happens to host that evening. Friends in different time zones can drop in, harvest, cook, fit a new module or drive on to the next biome without waiting for the group to gather. It suits small groups who want a long, unhurried playthrough spread over many short sessions.
