Raft
Raft drops you onto a few planks in the middle of an open ocean with a plastic hook and nothing else. You reel in floating debris, dive the reefs below, research new recipes at the research table and grow a scrap of wreckage into a sprawling floating home with crop plots, purifiers and sails, all while a persistent shark keeps testing your foundations. Island destinations carry the story forward, and the whole voyage can be played solo or in online co-op with friends.
A raft is a slow, shared build, which is exactly why hosting it properly helps. A dedicated Raft server keeps the raft, its storage and every researched blueprint in one world that stays put, so nobody is blocked because the person who owned the save is offline. Long crossings and multi stage island destinations can be picked up mid journey, and larger groups can split duties between building, farming and diving without losing progress.
Game Host Bros will run Raft servers on AMD Ryzen 9 9950X and EPYC processors with NVMe storage across 15 global server locations. Raft is sold on Steam for Windows. It left Early Access on 20 June 2022 with The Final Chapter, which added the closing story destinations, voice acting and trading.
