Ships At Sea is a maritime simulator from Misc Games, the studio behind Fishing: Barents Sea and Fishing: North Atlantic. It recreates the Lofoten region of Norway as an open world, and you build a career across commercial fishing, cargo transport, fish farm support and offshore service work, climbing through vessel classes as the money comes in. Wheelhouse instruments and vessel systems are modelled around real maritime workflows, and Nvidia WaveWorks handles the ocean alongside the studio's own buoyancy simulation.
Ships At Sea ships with dedicated server support, and it changes the shape of the career. On a shared server a group can register a company, pool money and equipment, crew the same vessel together or split off onto their own boats inside one persistent world, and the fleet is exactly where you left it next time. That suits crews who play on different evenings, because the company keeps its ships and its progress regardless of who is logged in.
