About
Squad 44
Squad 44, previously released as Post Scriptum, is a large-scale tactical World War II shooter built around communication and a real command structure. It ships with 20 battlefields taken from actual campaigns, including the liberation of the Netherlands and the Battle of Normandy, alongside roughly 150 period weapons and more than 120 vehicles. Squads coordinate over in-game voice on both proximity and radio channels, commanders call in artillery and gun runs, logistics players haul supplies to build fortifications, and tank crews split driver, gunner and commander duties between four people.
Tactical shooters at this size are made or broken by the server, not the client. Hosting your own Squad 44 server lets a clan set its own standards on squad leadership, vehicle claiming, language and conduct, run a map rotation that suits your player base rather than a generic one, and keep admins present through prime time. A fixed address is also how communities like these grow, because regulars favourite a server they trust and bring people back to the same one.
Squad 44 servers from Game Host Bros will run on AMD Ryzen 9 9950X and EPYC processors with NVMe storage, which matters for a game holding this many players, vehicles and buildable fortifications in one match. You will be able to choose from 15 global server locations, and the panel will provide full file access for editing configuration and admin lists, a live console for in-match moderation, scheduled restarts and automatic backups. Enterprise-grade DDoS protection is included, and migrations from another host are free.
Squad 44 is sold on Steam for Windows and supports Steam Workshop, so community maps and content can be loaded onto your own server. Playable factions include the British 1st Airborne Division, the US 4th Infantry Division, and the French, Australian, Greek, New Zealand and Polish armies, facing the Wehrmacht, Waffen SS and Fallschirmjäger.
Game Host Bros will offer Squad 44 server hosting from $15.99/mo. Rent a Squad 44 dedicated server for large tactical WW2 battles, with instant setup, Workshop content support, automatic backups and 15 global locations.
