About
Stormworks
Stormworks: Build and Rescue is a physics driven engineering sandbox. You assemble vehicles block by block in a detailed editor, wire up the electrics, and program their behaviour with an in-game logic system and Lua microcontrollers, then take the result out into heavy seas. Career mode has you running a search and rescue service, balancing money, build space and your own safety as the missions get harder, while custom creative mode strips the restrictions away so you can build scale replicas or absurd machines from the outset.
Stormworks is at its best when a crew shares one world: someone flies the helicopter, someone else runs the boat, and a third person keeps redesigning the submersible that will not stop flooding. A dedicated Stormworks server keeps that world, its docked vehicles and its mission progress loaded continuously, so the ocean does not vanish the moment the builder logs off. It also moves the physics and logic simulation onto server hardware rather than one player's desktop, which is the part of Stormworks that genuinely costs performance.
Game Host Bros will run Stormworks: Build and Rescue on AMD Ryzen 9 9950X and EPYC processors with NVMe storage across 15 global server locations. Our panel will give you full file access to server configuration and save data, a live console, scheduled restarts and automatic backups, with enterprise-grade DDoS protection on every server. Free migrations are available if you are moving an existing Stormworks world across from another host.
Stormworks: Build and Rescue is sold on Steam for Windows and macOS, and it has deep Steam Workshop integration for sharing vehicles, missions and addons. Workshop content can be installed onto your own server, which is how most groups run custom missions, and the game supports co-op as well as PvP.
Game Host Bros will offer Stormworks: Build and Rescue server hosting from $11.99/mo. Rent a Stormworks dedicated server for a persistent shared world, with instant setup, Workshop support, automatic backups and 15 global locations.
