About
Survive the Nights
Survive the Nights is a hardcore open world survival game where daylight is for preparation and darkness is for hiding behind whatever you managed to nail down. The infected are dangerous through sheer numbers rather than individual strength: they wander loosely by day, then gather into hordes drawn to player activity once the sun goes down, and the nights get worse the longer you last. Buildings and vehicles are fully fortifiable, traps can be laid, and calories, hydration, dynamic weather and four full seasons all work against you.
Almost nothing in this game rewards a session that resets. Boarded windows, pegboard storage, indoor crops grown to last the winter, a truck rebuilt part by part and a trap line around your hideout represent weeks of work. A dedicated Survive the Nights server keeps that world running whether or not anyone is connected, so the group's base is still standing tomorrow. It also lets you set the rules, whether that is strict PvE for a co-op group or open PvP with raiders, and it gives you the player list and regular backups of a map your community built.
Game Host Bros will run Survive the Nights on AMD Ryzen 9 9950X and EPYC processors with NVMe storage, which suits a persistent world simulating hordes, weather and seasons at the same time. There will be 15 global server locations to choose from, and the panel will provide full file access for server configuration, a live console, scheduled restarts and automatic backups. Enterprise-grade DDoS protection is included, and migrations from another host are free.
Survive the Nights is available on Steam for Windows with Steam Workshop support, and it covers both online and LAN play for co-op and PvP. Steam Cloud, full controller support, adjustable difficulty and Remote Play on phone, tablet and TV are also supported.
Game Host Bros will offer Survive the Nights server hosting from $15.99/mo. Rent a Survive the Nights dedicated server for a persistent survival world, with instant setup, automatic backups, full config access and 15 global locations.
