About
TerraTech Worlds
TerraTech Worlds is an open world build and craft adventure from Payload Studios, set on a 300 square kilometre alien planet that loads in one piece with no streaming breaks. You assemble modular vehicles called Techs from blocks, then swap them between mining, hauling and combat roles as the job demands. Alongside the vehicles sits a factory layer of automated production lines, conduit networks and power infrastructure, plus free form terraforming tools for reshaping the ground. Prospectors can play solo or team up in online co-op to push into swamps, arctic zones and enemy held territory.
Automation is the reason a TerraTech Worlds server earns its keep. Refineries, scrap processing and ammunition lines only pay off when they run continuously, and a shared world means one player's terraforming and base expansion is there for everyone else the next time they log in. Hosting the world separately from any single player's PC means nobody has to be the permanent host, sessions do not end when one person quits, and the factory you spent an evening laying out is still producing when the group reconvenes.
