Witchbrook is Chucklefish's witch life sim, set in the seaside city of Mossport where you enrol as the newest student at Witchbrook College. Days are split between attending classes, completing assignments and sitting exams, and everything else the city offers: brewing potions, taking part in rituals, reading the stars, tending a woodland cottage and its garden, running a small business or losing an afternoon at the arcade. Mossport keeps its own schedule, with residents following daily routines and seasonal festivals rolling around as the academic year passes. Up to four players can share the whole thing in online co-op.

A life sim lives or dies on continuity, which is exactly what a dedicated Witchbrook server provides. Seasons turn, crops grow, friendships build and coursework comes due whether or not a particular player is around, so a shared save that only exists on one person's machine becomes a scheduling problem quickly. Hosting Mossport on a server means every member of your coven can drop in when they have an hour free, and the town they return to is the one the group left.
