Aloft dedicated servers don't use a join password. Instead, you can hide your Aloft server from the lobby browser so the only way in is with your friend code.
Hiding Your Server From the Lobby Browser
- 1Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
- 2In the sidebar, go to
Settings. - 3Turn off
Is Visible. - 4Click
Save & Restartto apply your changes.
Your server will no longer be listed in the lobby browser. Share your friend code with the players you want to invite. Our connect guide shows where to find it.
Note
Your friend code changes every time your server restarts, so share the new code after each restart. Turn Is Visible back on to list your server in the browser again.
Protecting Home Islands
The Private Islands setting controls whether home island spawning is protected on your server.
- 1Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
- 2In the sidebar, go to
Settings. - 3Turn on
Private Islandsto protect home islands, or turn it off to leave them unprotected. - 4Click
Save & Restartto apply your changes.
