If you don't want to manually add yourself as an admin through the in-game console, here's how you can set yourself as an admin in the game files so you'll automatically become one as soon as you join!

  1. 1
    Connect to your server.
  2. 2
Open the larger Console by pressing Tab twice.
  3. 3
To find your Ark ID, type whoami in the console, then copy your ARK ID.
  4. 4
Access the Game Host Bros Panel and go to File Manager.
  5. 5
Create the file AllowedCheaterSteamIDs.txt in ShooterGame/Saved/.
  6. 6
List the Ark IDs (one per line) of the players you wish to set as admin.
  7. 7
    Restart your server.
