Your Blade Symphony server starts on duel_winter by default. The map name also sets what players do on it: duel_ maps such as duel_temple are duels, free_ maps such as free_temple are free-for-all, and cp_ maps such as cp_docks are control point battles.

Changing Your Starting Map

Log in to Bropanel and select your server.

In the sidebar, go to Settings.

Under Gameplay, edit Map.

Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

Enter the map name without .bsp, for example free_winter.

Did you know?

You can also change maps while your server is running: type changelevel mapname into the Console page of Bropanel.

Adding Custom Maps

Log in to Bropanel and Stop your server.

In the sidebar, go to Files.

Navigate to berimbau/maps.

Upload your .bsp map file.

Start your server.

Players download your custom maps automatically when they join, through your server's FastDL.

Setting A Map Rotation

Navigate to berimbau/cfg and open server.cfg.

Add the line mapcyclefile mapcycle.txt, then click save.

In the same folder, create mapcycle.txt with one map name per line, then click save.

Start your server.
