How to Install Plugins on HLDM

This guide will show you how to install plugins on your Half-Life Deathmatch server. By using our 1-Click Mod Manager, we automatically install and configure Metamod-R and AMX Mod X on your server.

Installing Metamod and AMX Mod X Frameworks

Before you install any plugins, you must install the modding frameworks.

    Access the Game Host Bros Panel and select your Half-Life Deathmatch server.

    Go to Tools > Mod Manager.
  3. 3
    Find AMX Mod X and click Install.
  4. 4
    Restart your server.

Installing AMX Mod X Plugins

Now that Metamod and AMX Mod X are installed, you can start installing plugins.

    Download the plugin you want from the AMX Mod X website. This should be a .amxx file.

    Go to File Manager.
  3. 3
    Navigate to /valve/addons/amxmodx/plugins and copy in your downloaded .amxx file.
  4. 4
    Restart your server.

You can check that the plugin is actually running by typing amx_plugins into the server console.
