How To Add Custom Maps And Mods To Your Medal of Honor Allied Assault Server

Custom maps and mods for Medal of Honor: Allied Assault come as .pk3 files. Here's how to add them to your server, and how to add server settings that aren't in Bropanel.

Uploading Custom Maps And Mods

  1. 1
Download the map or mod and unzip it on your computer if it came in a .zip. You need the .pk3 file inside.
  2. 2
Log in to Bropanel and Stop your server.
  3. 3
In the sidebar, go to Files.
  4. 4
Navigate to the folder for the game your server runs:
    • Allied Assault: home/main/
    • Spearhead: home/mainta/
    • Breakthrough: home/maintt/
  5. 5
    Upload the .pk3 file.
  6. 6
    Start your server.

To play a custom map, enter its path in Map or Map Rotation, for example dm/mymap. The map's readme usually tells you the path.

Note

Players on the original game can't download files from a server, so share your custom .pk3 files with them before they join. Players on OpenMoHAA can download them automatically from your server's built-in FastDL, see Download Redirect.

Adding Your Own Server Settings

  1. 1
Log in to Bropanel and Stop your server.
  2. 2
In the sidebar, go to Files.
  3. 3
Open home/main/server.cfg, or home/mainta/server.cfg for Spearhead or home/maintt/server.cfg for Breakthrough.
  4. 4
Add your settings, one per line, for example set g_inactivekick 900, then save the file.
  5. 5
    Start your server.

Caution

server.cfg runs before the settings from Bropanel, so for options that are in Settings, like the server name, passwords, game type, map and limits, the Bropanel setting wins. Change those in Settings instead.
