Unlike many other games, Vintage Story servers require a server reinstallation to update to newer versions. This process won't remove your world, mods, or your serverconfig.json file.
Updating Your Vintage Story Server
- 1Access the Game Host Bros Panel and
Stopyour server. - 2In the sidebar, go to
Startup Parameters. - 3Find the
Release branchsetting and ensure it's set tostable. - 4Find the
Release versionsetting and ensure it's set tolatest. - 5In the sidebar, go to
Configuration > Server Actionsand clickReinstall Server.
Your server will now be updated to the latest stable version of Vintage Story.
