At Game Host Bros, we give you cloud backup storage equal to your server storage to backup your game server with. This will backup the most important parts of your game server such as the save folder, configs, plugins etc (This differs for each game).
We primarily back up critical save game and configuration files to reduce unnecessary server load. To see what's included, create and download a backup to your PC. If you need all files, set up your own backup solution using SFTP and a service like Multcloud.
Creating A Backup
This is how you can create a backup of your server. This will turn the server off while a backup is happening.
- 1Load the Game Host Bros Panel and select your server.
- 2In the left-hand menu, click
Management > Backups. - 3Click the
Createbutton. - 4Give your backup a name and click
Submit.
All backups are deleted once your service is canceled!
Schedules will automatically delete the oldest backups if there isn't enough available storage.
Restoring A Backup
Restoring from a backup is great if you've accidentally modified some of your configs or save files and need to change it back. Please be aware that restoring from a backup won't fix a server that is crashing unless the crash is related to the files that are in the backup itself.

Management > Backups. - 3Search for the backup you want and then click
Deploy.
Downloading A Backup
Downloading a backup is a great way to store your game save on your local PC.
- 1Load the Game Host Bros Panel and select your server.

Management > Backups. - 3Search for the backup you want and then click
Download.
Locking A Backup
If you have a major server revision you don't wanted to be deleted, You can lock it, so it takes multiple steps to remove it from our panel.
- 1Load the Game Host Bros Panel and select your server.
- 2In the left-hand menu, click
Management > Backups. - 3Search for the backup you want and then click
Lock.
