About
RTCW
Return to Castle Wolfenstein is the World War II shooter from 2001 whose multiplayer, built by Nerve Software, set the template for team objective games. Axis and Allies fight across maps like Beach Invasion, Village, Depot and Ice, where one side storms the defenses to steal documents or blow up a target while the other holds them off. Soldiers, Medics, Engineers and Lieutenants each have a role, and a match is won by teamwork far more than by frags. Its clans and leagues are still playing more than two decades later.
A dedicated Return to Castle Wolfenstein server gives your clan or community a home that is always online. You set the server name, message of the day, password and map rotation, and choose between Objective, Stopwatch matches where teams take turns attacking against the clock, and Checkpoint, where both teams race to capture flags across the map. Friendly fire, lives per round, team balance and voting are all yours to decide.
Game Host Bros will run Return to Castle Wolfenstein servers on AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processors with NVMe storage across 14 global server locations. Servers will use iortcw, the open source update to the game that brings native 64-bit Linux servers and years of bug and security fixes, with the Game of the Year map packs installed so all fifteen maps are ready to play. Our control panel will set the game type and server options from simple settings, with full file access for custom maps and map rotations, and custom maps reach players through built-in FastDL.
Players on the Steam and GOG releases and on iortcw can join your server, and enterprise-grade DDoS protection will keep your matches online.
