How To Install The Game Files On Your Call of Duty Server

Your server comes with the Call of Duty and United Offensive game files already installed, so every Game Version works right away. If files are ever missing, the console tells you when the server starts. You can then go to Settings and click Reinstall in the top-right to download them again, or add them from your own copy as shown below.

Uploading Your Own Files

  1. 1
On your computer, open your Call of Duty folder. The Call of Duty files are in its main folder and the United Offensive files are in its uo folder.
  2. 2
Log in to Bropanel and Stop your server.
  3. 3
In the sidebar, go to Files. Create a folder named uo next to the main folder if it isn't there.
  4. 4
Upload every .pk3 file from your game's main folder into main, and from its uo folder into uo, for example pakuo00.pk3 and localized_english_pakuo00.pk3. SFTP is easiest for files this large.
  5. 5
    Start your server.
  1. 1
Zip your game's main and uo folders and upload the zip somewhere that gives you a direct download link.
  2. 2
Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
  3. 3
In the sidebar, go to Settings.
  4. 4
Under Advanced, paste the link into Game Files URL. For several zips, put a space between the links.
  5. 5
Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

The server downloads and installs the files on that start, which takes a few minutes. It only downloads once: when the files are there, the link isn't used again.

Note

Your own copy must be patched to 1.5 (Call of Duty) and 1.51 (United Offensive), the versions players need to join. Steam copies already are.
