How to Use Chat Commands on Your Path of Titans Server

You can manage your Path of Titans server using commands in the game's text chat. This guide groups the commands listed in the official Chat Commands wiki by task.

How to Run Chat Commands

  1. 2
For commands that require permission, add yourself as a server admin or assign a player role with the required permission.
  2. 3
Open the in-game text chat, enter a command beginning with /, and press Enter.

Commands also work while you are in Spectator Mode. In the tables below, values in square brackets are placeholders: replace them with your own values and leave out the brackets. [player] means a username or Alderon Games ID (AGID), such as 123-456-789.

Command Permissions

Most role permissions use the lowercase command name without /, for example +Permission=kick. Some commands share permissions or use names with spaces:

CommandsPermission line in Commands.ini
/teleport, /bring, /goto+Permission=teleport
/teleportall, /bringall+Permission=teleportall
/setmarks, /addmarks, /removemarks+Permission=setmarks
/promote, /demote+Permission=promote
/restart, /cancelrestart+Permission=restart
/[attribute], /modattr+Permission=modify attribute
/setattr+Permission=set attribute
/setattrall+Permission=set attribute all
/getattr, /getallattr+Permission=get attribute
/rewardgrowth+Permission=reward growth
/rewardwellrested+Permission=reward well rested
/TimeOfDay, /Day+Permission=time of day
/SpawnCritter, /CountCritters, /ClearCritters+Permission=spawncritters

Check the command's entry in the official wiki before granting access. Our Player Roles guide explains where to add these lines and how to assign a role.

Caution

Commands can affect other players, remove objects, or change the whole server. Give roles only the permissions their users need, especially for bans, role changes, and commands that target everyone.

General Commands

The official wiki lists these commands as available without a role permission.

CommandUse
/rulesRead the server rules.
/motdRead the message of the day.
/helpView command help.
/clearClear your chat display.
/mapbugCopy your current position to the clipboard for a map bug report.
/bugsnapOpen the bug snapshot submission dialog.
/respawnKill your character and respawn at a normal spawn point.
/mute [player]Mute a player for yourself.
/unmute [player]Undo your personal mute.
/listplayersList connected players.
/listplayerpositionsList player locations.
/whisper [player] [message] or /w [player] [message]Send a private chat message.
/whisperall [message]Send a whisper to everyone.

Teleport Commands

Use /listpoi to find points of interest (POIs) before teleporting to a named location. Coordinates use the format (X=-91112,Y=-176182,Z=13156), including the parentheses.

CommandUse
/teleport [coordinates]Move yourself to coordinates.
/teleport [player] [coordinates]Move a player to coordinates.
/teleport [player] [destination-player]Move one player to another.
/teleport [POI]Move yourself to a POI.
/teleport [player] [POI]Move a player to a POI.
/bring [player]Bring a player to you. Requires teleport.
/goto [location]Go to a location.
/teleportall [POI] or /teleportall [coordinates]Move all players to one destination.
/bringallBring all players to you.

The unsafe option disables the safe-location checks used by /teleport. Leave it out for normal teleports.

/teleport talonspoint
/teleport 123-456-789 (X=-91112,Y=-176182,Z=13156)

Marks, Healing, and Attributes

CommandUse
/setmarks [number]Set your marks.
/setmarks [player] [number]Set a player's marks.
/setmarksall [number]Set everyone's marks.
/addmarks [player] [number]Add marks to a player.
/addmarksall [number]Add marks to everyone.
/removemarks [player] [number]Remove marks from a player.
/heal or /heal [player]Heal yourself or a player.
/healallHeal everyone.
/godmode or /godmode [player]Toggle god mode for yourself or a player.
/[attribute] [number]Change one of your character's attributes.
/modattr [player] [attribute] [value]Add to a player's attribute; use a negative value to subtract.

/getallattr [player]Read all of a player's attributes.
/rewardgrowth [player] [value]Award growth to a player over time.
/rewardwellrested [player] [value]Award Well Rested until the specified growth value is reached.

For example, /addmarks 123-456-789 500 adds 500 marks to that player. Use /getattr or /getallattr to inspect attributes before changing them.

Moderation and Roles

CommandUse
/promote [player] [role]Assign a defined player role.
/demote [player]Remove a player's roles. Requires promote.
/kick [player] [reason]Disconnect a player.
/ban [player] [duration] "[admin-reason]" "[player-reason]"Ban an account with separate staff and player reasons.
/banip [IP] [duration] "[admin-reason]" "[player-reason]"Ban an IP address.

/PlayerInfo [player]Inspect a player's information.
/ServerMute [player] [time] '[admin-reason]' '[player-reason]'Apply a server mute.
/ServerUnmute [player]Remove a server mute.
/Whitelist [player]Add a player to the whitelist.
/DelWhitelist [player]Remove a player from the whitelist.
/ReloadBansReload the ban list.
/ReloadMutesReload the mute list.
/ReloadWhitelistReload the whitelist.

Use the Player Roles guide to define roles in Commands.ini before assigning them. A role's hierarchy can also prevent its users from running moderation commands on someone with a higher role.

Ban durations accept s, m, h, or d for seconds, minutes, hours, or days. A number without a suffix is seconds; 0 is a permanent ban. Put each reason in quotes, for example:

/ban 123-456-789 7d "Repeated rule violations" "Please follow the server rules"

For /ServerMute, the wiki documents durations such as 20m, 4h, and 1d; 0 mutes permanently. This differs from /mute, which only hides that player's messages for you.

Server Management and Messages

/saveSave the server.
/loadLoad the server's saved state.

/cancelrestartCancel a pending restart.

/CountCrittersCount critters.
/freezecritters 1 or /freezecritters 0Freeze or unfreeze critters.
/ClearCrittersRemove critters.

Run /SpawnCritter without arguments to list available critter names. If you leave out the amount, it spawns one critter.

Nesting Commands

For commands with a [player] argument in this section, you can leave it out to target your own nest. Nest health and resource percentages use fractions: 0.5 means 50%, and 0.7 means 70%.

CommandUse
/ReplenishNest [player]Replenish nest resources and baby slots.
/SetNestHealth [player] [percent]Set nest health and adjust resources to match.
/SetNestSlots [player] [slots]Set the number of nest slots.

/DestroyNearbyNestDestroy a nearby nest.
/CheckNest [player]Inspect a player's nest.
/CheckNearbyNestInspect a nearby nest.
/ListNestsList nests.

/TeleportToNest [nest-owner] moves you to that player's nest. Add a target player first to move someone else. For example:

/SetNestHealth 0.5
/SetNestResource Food 0.7
/TeleportToNest 123-456-789

Command Not Working?

  • Check that you entered the command in the game's text chat with a leading /.
  • Replace every placeholder with an actual player, role, location, or value.
  • Check the role's command permission, including shared permissions such as teleport for /bring.
  • After editing Commands.ini, save it and start the server again. Check that the AGID and role name match your assignment.
  • For moderation commands, check whether the target has a higher role hierarchy.

Open the command's entry in the official wiki for its examples, supported values, and permission requirements.
