How To Set Up A Download Redirect On Your Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 Server

Your server already sends custom maps to players through its built-in FastDL. If you'd rather host the files on your own web server, set a download redirect.

Setting Up A Download Redirect

    Compress each custom file to a .uz2 file with the ucc compress command that comes with the game.

    Upload the .uz2 files to a web host, all in one folder.

    Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
  4. 4
    In the sidebar, go to Settings.
  5. 5
    Under Modding, find Download Redirect URL and enter the web address of that folder, for example http://maps.example.com/ro/.

    Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

To go back to the built-in FastDL, clear the Download Redirect URL field and click Save & Restart.

Note

The file names on the web host must match the ones on your server with .uz2 added, for example RO-MyMap.rom.uz2.
