How To Install A Mod On Your Jedi Outcast Server

Your Jedi Outcast server can run a mod from its own folder next to the base game. Here's how to upload one and switch to it.

Uploading The Mod

  1. 1
Download the mod's server files and unzip them on your computer. You should get a folder, for example mymod, with .pk3 files inside.
  2. 2
Log in to Bropanel and Stop your server.
  3. 3
In the sidebar, go to Files.
  4. 4
Open the GameData folder and upload the mod folder next to the base folder.
  5. 5
    Start your server.

Switching To The Mod

  1. 1
Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
  2. 2
In the sidebar, go to Settings.
  3. 3
Under Modding, enter the folder name, for example mymod, in Mod Folder.
  4. 4
Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

To go back to the base game, clear Mod Folder and click Save & Restart. Each mod folder keeps its own server.cfg.

Note

Mods that only ship Windows files (.dll) can't run on the server. Most Jedi Outcast mods work, because they ship their game code inside the .pk3 files. Check which game version the mod needs.
