A password keeps your Sven Co-op server private, so only players who know it can join.
Setting Your Sven Co-op Server Password
- 1Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
- 2In the sidebar, go to
Settings. - 3Find
[Basic] Server Passwordand enter the password you want, up to 20 characters. - 4Click
Save & Restartto apply your changes.
Note
This setting overrides any sv_password line you add to server.cfg yourself. To remove the password, clear [Basic] Server Password and click Save & Restart.
Hiding Your Server From the Server Browser
If you'd rather players couldn't find your server at all, set the Region setting to -1 in Settings and click Save & Restart. Your server is then no longer listed in the server browser, and players join by IP instead. Any other value lists your server in that region.
Joining a Passworded Server
Players open the developer console (~) and type password YourPassword before they connect.
