How To Change Your Team Fortress 2 Server Name

This is what you do if you need to change your server name on your Team Fortress 2 server, also referred to as a hostname. This is what is displayed to players in the server browser.

Changing Your TF2 Server Name

    Log in to the Game Host Bros Panel and select your TF2 server.

    In the sidebar, go to Startup Parameters.
  3. 3
    Find the Server Name setting and enter your desired server name.
  4. 4
    Restart your server.
Note

This setting will override anything you have manually set inside of server.cfg.
