RCON lets you kick and ban players, change maps and send messages on your Bad Company 2 server, from the Bropanel console or a tool such as Procon. Your server already has a random RCON password; here's how to set your own and use it.

Setting Your RCON Password

Log in to Bropanel and select your server.

In the sidebar, go to Settings.

Under RCON, edit RCON Password and enter the password you want, 8 to 32 letters, numbers, dashes or underscores.

Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

Using The Console

In Bropanel, open Console and type a command, for example:

Command	What it does
`admin.say "Hello" all`	Sends a chat message to everyone
`admin.kickPlayer <name>`	Kicks a player
`admin.runNextRound`	Moves on to the next round
`admin.listPlayers all`	Lists the players on the server

Connecting With Procon

Log in to Bropanel and select your server.

Copy your server IP address from the Overview page.

In the sidebar, go to Settings. Under Advanced, note the RCON Port.

In Procon, add a connection with your server IP, the RCON port and your RCON Password.
