Here is how you can join your Call of Duty 2 dedicated server. Which players can join depends on your server's Game Version.

Tip

CoD2x is free. Download it from cod2x.me and extract the two files into your Call of Duty 2 folder. Every Steam copy is already on 1.3.

Connecting From The Server Browser

Open Call of Duty 2 Multiplayer and click Join Game.

Set Source to Internet and click Refresh List.

Find your server name in the list. Click a column header to sort if the list is long.

Double-click your server to join. If you set a server password, enter it when asked.

Note

It can take a few minutes for a new server to appear in the list after it starts. Joining by IP always works.

Connecting With The IP Address

Log in to Bropanel and select your Call of Duty 2 server.

Copy the server IP address and port from the Overview page, for example 123.45.67.89:28960.

Open Call of Duty 2 Multiplayer and press the ~ key to open the console.

Type /connect 123.45.67.89:28960 with your own IP and port, then press Enter.

If your server has a password, type /password yourpassword in the console before /connect.
