Discovery players update their game through the Discovery launcher, so your server needs the same patch for them to join. With Discovery Auto Update enabled, your Discovery server checks for new official patches every time it starts and installs them before it goes online.
Enabling Discovery Auto Update
- 1Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
- 2In the sidebar, go to
Settings. - 3Under
General, find theDiscovery Auto Updatetoggle and make sure it's enabled. - 4Click
Save & Restartto apply your changes.
When a new Discovery patch comes out, restart your server and it will update itself. Updates show in the Console as they install.
Note
This setting only does something when Mod is set to discovery. If you disable it, your server only updates when you reinstall it.
