How To Change The Game Mode On Your Killing Floor Server

Your Killing Floor server can run one of two game modes.

Game ModeWhat it is
SurvivalThe classic mode. Hold out against waves of Zeds, shop at the trader between waves and kill the Patriarch at the end.
ObjectiveStory maps with goals to complete as you fight through the level. These maps start with KFO-.

Changing The Game Mode

    Log in to Bropanel and select your server.

    In the sidebar, go to Settings.
  3. 3
    Under Gameplay, find Game Mode and pick Survival or Objective.
  4. 4
    If you set a Map, make sure it fits the mode, or clear it to use a stock map.
  5. 5
    Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

Note

With Map left empty, Survival starts on KF-BioticsLab and Objective starts on KFO-Steamland.
