By default, PlayStation players can only connect to official servers in Minecraft Bedrock. However, you can change your PlayStation's DNS settings to allow connection to third party servers like your Minecraft Bedrock server using BedrockConnect.
Changing DNS Settings on PlayStation
- 1Go to
Settings > Network - 2Select
Set Up Internet Connection - 3Choose your connection method (Wi-Fi or LAN cable)
- 4Select
Customsetup - 5When prompted for DNS settings, choose
Manual - 6Enter these DNS addresses:
- Primary DNS:
45.55.68.52 - Secondary DNS:
8.8.8.8
- Primary DNS:
- 7Complete the setup and restart your console
Connecting to Your Server
- 1Log in to the Game Host Bros panel and select your Minecraft server.
- 2Copy your server IP address from the sidebar.
- 3Open Minecraft and click
Play. - 4Go to
Serversand select any available server. - 5Click
Connect to a Server. - 6Enter your server's IP address and port.
- 7Click
Connect.
Example: If your server IP is 198.137.23.46:7781, it should look like this:
IP: 198.137.23.46
Port: 7781
Alternative DNS Servers
If the main server is unavailable, try these alternatives:
- UK Server:
213.171.211.142 - Germany Server:
217.160.58.93
