RCON lets you manage your Operation: Harsh Doorstop server while it runs: change the map, kick or ban players, add bots and send messages. RCON is always on, and the Bropanel console uses it for you.
Using The Console
- 1Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
- 2In the sidebar, go to
Console. - 3Type a command, such as
status, and pressEnter.
Commands
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
status | Shows the map, game mode and players, with each player's ID |
say <message> | Sends a message to everyone on the server |
NextMap | Loads the next map in your map rotation |
servertravel <map> | Loads a map, for example servertravel Khafji |
kick <name> [reason] | Kicks a player by name |
kickid <id> [reason] | Kicks a player by the ID that status shows |
ban <name> [reason] [minutes] | Bans a player by name, for the number of minutes you give |
banid <id> [reason] [minutes] | Bans a player by ID |
forceteam <name> <team> | Moves a player to team 0 or 1 |
AddBots [number] | Adds bots to the match |
AddBluforBots [number] | Adds bots to the Blufor team |
AddOpforBots [number] | Adds bots to the Opfor team |
RemoveAllBots | Removes every bot |
RELOADSERVERCONFIG | Reloads Admins.cfg and Bans.cfg after you edit them |
While nobody is on your server, it sleeps to save resources and removes any bots, so add bots once players have joined.
Caution
Typing QUIT or EXIT shuts your server down. Use the Restart and Stop buttons in Bropanel instead.
