How To Disable The Death Penalty On Your Palworld Server

By default, death penalty is set to "All" on Palworld servers, meaning players lose all items and Pals when they die. You can adjust this setting to make death more or less punishing.

Changing The Death Penalty

    Login to the Game Host Bros Panel and Stop your Server.

    In the sidebar, go to Startup Parameters.
  3. 3
    Under Player edit DeathPenalty and choose from these options:
    • None - No drops when dying
    • Item - Drop all items except equipment
    • ItemAndEquipment - Drop all items
    • All - Drop all items and all Pals on team

    Start your Server.
