This guide shows you how to enable PvP on your Palworld server. PvP allows players to fight each other and adds a competitive element to gameplay.
PvP is a trial feature and is not covered by official support. Some settings may change in future updates.
Enabling PvP
- 1Login to the Game Host Bros Panel and
Stopyour Server. - 2In the sidebar, go to
Startup Parameters. - 3Enable the following three required settings:

What Changes When PvP is Enabled
According to the official PvP documentation provided by PocketPair, here's some information about what changes when PvP is enabled on your server:
- Players can harm each other
- Entering another player's base makes their base Pals hostile
- Increased damage to flying players and mounted Pals
- Reduced damage to summoned and base Pals
- Players can access chests owned by other guilds
- Reduced melee weapon damage against structures built by other players
- Base Pals defend over a larger area, and the allowable distance between neighboring bases is increased
- Players are notified when their base is under attack, and building or repairing inside the base becomes unavailable
- Some weapons have modified range and damage values
Recommended PvP Settings
The following settings are recommended by PocketPair for a balanced PvP experience.

To ban fast-movement Pal Gear and Grappling Guns, set DenyTechnologyList under Advanced in Startup Parameters to:

PvP Rewards Settings
Create custom game modes where players collect "Champion's Emblems" from kills.
