How To Enable Hardcore Mode On Your Palworld Server

This guide shows you how to enable hardcore mode on your Palworld server. Hardcore mode enables permanent death for players and optionally for Pals.

Enabling Hardcore Mode

    Login to the Game Host Bros Panel and Stop your Server.
  2. 2
    In the sidebar, go to Startup Parameters.
  3. 3
    Under Player change bHardcore to True for permanent player death.
  4. 4
    Optionally, under Pals change bPalLost to True for permanent Pal death.
  5. 5
    Start your Server.
Caution

With these settings enabled Characters and Pals will be permanently lost when they die.

You can enable bCharacterRecreateInHardcore to allow new character creation after a Hardcore death.
