SourceMod adds admin commands, map voting and thousands of community plugins to your Pirates, Vikings & Knights II server. Game Host Bros installs it for you with one setting.

Turning On SourceMod

Log in to Bropanel and select your server.

In the sidebar, go to Settings.

Under Modding, enable SourceMod.

Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

Your server installs Metamod:Source and SourceMod, and keeps both on the newest stable version every time it restarts. Your plugins and configs are kept when they update.

Note

Disabling SourceMod moves the pvkii/addons folder aside as addons_disabled_ followed by the date, so nothing is deleted. Enabling it again starts a fresh install.

Adding Plugins

Log in to Bropanel and Stop your server.

In the sidebar, go to Files.

Open pvkii/addons/sourcemod/plugins and upload the plugin's .smx file. Upload any config files into pvkii/cfg/sourcemod.

Start your server.

Making Yourself Admin

Find your SteamID, for example by typing status in the game console while you are on your server.

Log in to Bropanel and select your server.

In the sidebar, go to Files.

Open pvkii/addons/sourcemod/configs/admins_simple.ini and add a line with your SteamID in quotes followed by "99:z", for example "[U:1:12345678]" "99:z".

Click Save and restart your server.

In game, type sm_admin in the console or !admin in chat to open the admin menu.
