How To Use RCON On Your Pirates, Vikings & Knights II Server

RCON lets you run server commands from inside the game, such as changing the map or kicking a player, without opening Bropanel.

Finding Or Changing Your RCON Password

Your server gets a random RCON password when it's created.

    Log in to Bropanel and select your server.

    In the sidebar, go to Settings.
  3. 3
    Under RCON, edit RCON Password.
  4. 4
    Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

The password needs at least 8 characters: letters, numbers, dashes and underscores.

Using RCON In Game

    Join your server and press ~ to open the console.
  2. 2
    Type rcon_password yourpassword with your RCON Password, then press Enter.
  3. 3
    Run commands with rcon in front, for example rcon changelevel bt_island or rcon status.

You can also type commands without rcon in the Console page in Bropanel.
