How To Use FastDL On Your Return to Castle Wolfenstein Server

At Game Host Bros, your Return to Castle Wolfenstein server comes with FastDL, so players on iortcw download your custom maps and mods over the web instead of slowly through the game server. Everything is automatic: just upload your custom maps.

How Does FastDL Work?

• Every .pk3 file you add to your server's main folder is synced to the fastdl folder when your server starts.
• The stock game files are left out, because every player already has them.
• Your server tells players where to download from by itself. Players on iortcw don't need to change anything.
• Players on the original game can't use FastDL. They download through the game server instead, after typing /cl_allowdownload 1 in the console once.
• Files you delete from your server are removed from FastDL on the next start.
