How To Use RCON On Your SourceForts Classic Server

RCON (remote console) lets you run server commands from in-game or from an RCON tool without opening Bropanel.

Changing The RCON Password

    Log in to Bropanel and select your server.

    In the sidebar, go to Settings.

    Under RCON, edit RCON Password. Use at least 8 letters, numbers, dashes or underscores.

    Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

Using RCON In-Game

    Join your server and open the developer console with the ~ key.

    Type rcon_password yourpassword and press Enter.
  3. 3
    Run commands with rcon in front, for example rcon changelevel sf_skywalk or rcon togglephase.

Tip

Useful SourceForts commands include togglephase (switch between build and combat), addtime 60 (add 60 seconds to the current phase) and map_restart 5 (restart the round in 5 seconds and clear all blocks). RCON tools connect to your server's address over TCP.
